Lakeside Suites Storrs Hall Hotel promotional filming began this week in anticipation of the opening very soon.
Prior to the UK lockdown Storrs Hall Hotel had commissioned Skylark to film over a 12-month period the hotel, grounds and local areas.
Filming was about to begin filming the Bluebells in three areas of the Lake District. This has now been postponed until 2021.
As the lockdown slowly allows more work and activities to begin again the aerial filming again commenced.
To allow social distancing the new suites would be ideal.
The suites built in 2019 have views of Windermere and only a walk away from the hotel entrance.
The suites have their own patio and hot tubs.
This is what Storrs Hotel has to say:-
Lakeside Suites Storrs Hall Hotel
Inspired by the clean, classic Georgian lines of the main house, and the natural environment they sit in, the Lakeside Suites, (for adults only), provide a luxurious and cosseting space immersed in nature.
Glazed along the whole of the outward facing walls, the seamless transition between purposefully harmonising interiors and outdoors provides a unique and tranquil way to experience the lakes.
Elevated on a natural rock outcrop above the lakeshore and wrapped in woodland – yet only a few metres from the main house – you feel like you’ve entered another world, with all the required 21st Century amenities.
Sophisticated stone clad bathrooms give a nod to rustic, as do the watery woodland tones of the décor, super-king sized beds.
Natural fibres and wood finishes keep inside healthily natural – while you only have to slide open one of the floor to ceiling windows to let outside in.
Private lakeland stone terraces face the lake and woodland views, with Japanese style cedar wood hot tubs sitting under a canopy of tree tops, (the lakes have rare Temperate Rainforest, the air is brand new, fresh and clean).
Whether you enjoy these misty mornings, spectacular sunsets, under starlit skies or even our in our lake and waterfall feeding rain, the experience will be truly memorable and unique.
There is nothing quite like these in the lakes.
The suites Tern and Teal are accessible for people with limited mobility, and wheelchair users, with car access to the suites.
