Snow covered Berkshire captured in majestic drone footage

People across Berkshire have wrapping up warm and pulling on their boots to enjoy the a walk in the snow.

The county has been blanketed with white stuff after some heavy flurries on Sunday morning.

Drone footage, shows snow-capped houses and white gardens as far as the eye can see in Bracknell.

Families have been out enjoying the snow, which is up to 5cm in some places, throughout the morning.

According to the Met Office weather forecast: “An area of snow will push across England and Wales Sunday with the chance of disruption.

“This will bring one to three centimetres of snow across much of the warning area, though not all sites will see lying snow, with areas above 100m likely to be worst affected.”

Slough, Bracknell, Reading, Windsor and Maidenhead and other Berkshire towns have all been hit heavily with snow during Sunday morning.

The Met Office weather warning has been in force since 3am and is in place until midnight tonight with drivers warned to take care if they are heading out.

The drone footage shows a birds-eye-view of Berkshire under the snow.
